App Store Issue - iPhone 5 Optimization Requirement

I got the following message when I uploaded an app to the app store:

"We have discovered one or more issues with your recent delivery for "........". To process your delivery, the following issues must be corrected:

iPhone 5 Optimization Requirement - Your binary is not optimized for iPhone 5. As of May 1, all new iPhone apps and app updates submitted must support the 4-inch display on iPhone 5. All apps must include a launch image with the -568h size modifier immediately following the <basename> portion of the launch image's filename. Launch images must be PNG files and located at the top-level of your bundle, or provided within each .lproj folder if you localize your launch images. Learn more about iPhone 5 support and app launch images by reviewing the iOS Human Interface Guidelines and iOS App Programming Guide.

Invalid Launch Image - Your app contains a launch image with a size modifier that is only supported for apps built with the iOS 6.0 SDK or later. "

I added an additional image to the "Included files" in the "Air for iOS Settings/General" menu. The file is called "Default-568@2x.png". The file is included along side "Default@2x.png" and "Default-Landscape.png." These images all represent the splash screen.

I thought this would solve the problem but it did not. Does anyone have any thoughts? Did I the file named incorrectly?

FYI, I am working in Flash Professional CC.

You must be using AIR 3.4 or earlier to package your app. Trying packaging with AIR 3.5 or later and the issue would be fixed. More details available at

Weird that he would be using 3.4 if CC comes with 3.6 by default.

Has anyone successfully submitted a Flash CC app yet, I switched just last week and about to submit, very curious.

I successfully submitted apps that I made with the beta of CC. Will be submitting two apps today with the release version, and AIR 3.8.
