I have updated AIR to 2.7 version (on Windows 7) right before installing my application and the installation does not started . I made an simple test application wich no functionality - only white screen - it also does not start to install.

Then i found out that every click on .air file opens Application Installer process in task manager but nothing happens.

AIR log file says:

[2012-04-17:10:13:30] Application Installer begin with version 2.7.1.19610 on Windows 7 x86

[2012-04-17:10:13:30] Commandline is: C:\www\testair\testair.air

[2012-04-17:10:13:30] Installed runtime (2.7.1.19610) located at c:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe AIR

This process can be open all the time while computer works - and nothing more

Could you guys try creating a new, temporary, administrator account and see if AIR will install with the new account?

Could you try installing the AIR 3.2 runtime and post the entire log file afterwards?  I'm surprised that it's stopping at the last line listed in your log.

I also found out when uninstalling AIR from computer this process starts and does not close after uninstall is complete

when installing AIR, even after a success message, in process list are standing:

The next thing I'd try is to create a new, temporary user account, and see if you can install there.  Once installed, the app (and AIR) should be available to all user accounts.

Hi yes I have created a new profile and delete the main profile and it works.

The old profile could not be corrupt because it was a new computer only working

for 3 days there had to be a way to fix that. so many where having the same

problem, but any ways all is working on a new profile. Thanks
