Black screen with iPad iOS 8.1 device on app launch

Replicated using this environment:

iPad Version: 8.1 (12B410)

Adobe flash Pro: CS6 (12.0.2.529)

Adobe Air SDK: 15.0

FLA: blank white no AS no stage elements

Applied iOS ad-hoc distribution Cert and provisioning files to publish settings and successfully published:

Application installs successfully using:

adt -installApp -platform ios -package PATH_TO.ipa

clicked installed app on device and only got a black screen

same exact setup and steps on iOS 7 gave us a successful test with our test app launch

I had this problem.

I was using fully updated FlashCS 5.5

When i updated to FlashCC the problem was gone.

All prior published apps stopped working, has to be republished

I'm mostly disapointed that i didnt get update for Flash CS 5.5

i'm facing the same problem with my Flex iPad app!

Works like a charm in the past but after updating iOS it fails.. Emulator/device install works fine but i only get a blank screen when opening the app

Hi Suggsgested,

We looked into the problem which you have mentioned, but the same could not be replicated at out end. Would request you to provide us with sample ".fla" file, with which you are facing the problem. Also please mention the AIR SDK version (like 15.0.0.356) which you are using at your end.
