can't install Adobe Air in win 7 Ultimate

Hi all some help would be great here woke up this morning to find error messages after an update seems to be associated with Adobe Air keep getting this when i try to install adobe air

An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator.

i have tried all sorts of fixes with no help,I", not even able to uninstall Air .Help Please
