Can we develop Microsoft tablet/windows phone apps using Flash?

Does anyone know when, if, we will be able to develop apps for the windows phone?

I don't believe there's any news for Windows Phone 8 (which is currently not supported), but there is for Windows 8 running on a phone or tablet:  AIR will 'just work' in the Classic mode of Win8.

On 11/14/2012 Lee Brimelow tweeted "we're working on Air for Metro. It should be available first half of next year."

This may or may not cover Win8 RT on ARM in Modern mode.

Should wait to see if there is a market for it before spending any time there.  I am referring to the phone version which has two branches 7 & 8 and combined market share of 3%.  I walked into a store the other day and big screen phones everywhere and only 1 was WP8.    Not saying WP8 is a bad platform but it has a lot to prove before I spend any time on it.  Desktop mode on the other hand I would hope continues to work for my windows version.
