can we target external display on iOS?

Is there any way to target the external display (for example, composite output through dock connector) of an iOS device in AIR? Not mirrored, but instead content that differs from what appears on the iOS device itself.

I've seen discussion and demonstration of this ability regarding AIR, but it might be about Phonegap+JS and not AS3.
