cannot install adobe air on laptop Windows 7

Keep getting an administrator error.  Cannot find any fixes.  I hear many people having the same problem but cannot find a solution.  Was troubleshooting with Microsoft last night for an hour and no luck.  Please help on this.  Thank you.
