Cannot install Adobe Air on Mac Book Pro

Hi, I tried to download the Adobe Air Framework on my Mac Book Pro but it didn't work. I got a message that the file was damaged. I tried the following to correct this: deleted the virus program, updated the Operating System and adjusted the time settings. This didn't help.

Can somebody help me out?

Hi, I saw on another thread that I could use this terminal command sudo xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine /Library/Frameworks/Adobe\ AIR.framework

I did that and that seemed to work. Only when I click on the Adobe icon it asked for permission to certain file folders. And now I am completely lost 🙂
