I have an HTC Desire running Froyo 2.2 OS (OS supplied by O2 mobile company i.e. O2 branded phone)

Each time I try to install Air 2.5.1.1774 it downloads then tries to install; I get the message:-

Installation of Adobe Air unsuccessful.

Any advice please?

I tried on my HTC Desire with froyo and Air 2.5.1.1774 got downloaded and installed successfully.

Can you please check if you are not running out-of-space on internal storage ?

If problem re-occurs after freeing up space, can you please share output of "adb logcat" ?

Internal Phone "Available space" = 43.57MB
SD card "Available space" = 1.84GB

can you please share output of "adb logcat" ?

How do I do this? Where can I see the output of this file on my Desire?

"adb" is a binary which is part of Android SDK and can be used to interact with your Android device in command line mode.

Please follow the given steps:

1. Install latest JDK from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html (If not already present)

2. Download Android SDK (as per your platform) from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html

3. Android SDK contains "adb" under tools folder. Connect your phone to desktop using usb cable and run "adb devices" to see if it is listed.

4. adb logcat -c ( to clear previous logs )

5. Try to reproduce the issue by trying to download and install AIR

6. If it is a failure, run : "adb logcat" and send us the output.
