cannot update adobe help

each time i try to update the adobe help i cget an error 16800

what can i do to resolve this ?

Sorry, I couldn't decide whether to start a new topic or not. The Subject is generic enough to cover my problem, so I piggybacked onto the original post.

I'm trying to update Adobe Help (CS6) on OS X. Content downloads, but then the progress bar just runs forever (It's been an hour so far.) as the app "extracts and integrates" the help documents. It's hard to tell what exactly Help is doing, since the progress bar either runs or doesn't...ie., it doesn't actually show progress. Help hasn't hung/frozen, but what, if anything, it's doing is beyond me. If I quit Help, the next time I start it, it shows the same docs "pending integration".

I'm sorry you're running into problems updating the Help application. The steps detailed in the following tech support document should resolve your problem:
