Capabilities.touchscreenType with Leap Motion

I bought a leap motion controller. Capabilities.touchscreenType now says my Windows Desktop is a touch screen. I have an application that runs on iOS, Android, Windows and MAC. The problem is the UI and events are different for touchscreens vs. mouse screens. I need to detect desktops with leap motion and overwrite the Capabilities.touchscreenType value. What's going to be the best method for doing this?
