Changes to Adobe Air

Hello,

Recently a third party software provider said that they had to remove the `green screen' functionality from their software (Air based), because Adobe had removed that function from `Air.' I quote/unquote the exact reply:

"Green screen was removed because Adobe removed from Air function which allowed to do that."

Is this true or not and does the `green screen' feature depend on `Adobe Air?' on a third party software?
