Choose Photo from Camera Dialog not in fullscreen mode + glitch

When I trigger the choose for the camera roll my app breaks out of full screen mode and ads a white header that animates in before the camera roll actually becomes visible.

Has anyone seen this or know how to fix it ?

Hi,

I'm not sure, but I think it came with iOS 8, that's when I noticed it (the white header). I only this this on iPhone/ iPod. On iPad the statusbar comes visible and stays after the camera roll is closed, so I'm calling  "stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE;", to hide it again.

I tried this ... it doesnt change anything though .. you still see the empty white header animate up the screen in a glitchy fashion.

I also noticed that if you are using the white statusbar. . after opening the camera roll and exiting the camera roll it changes to black.
