DB Connection Performance between AIR2.7 to AIR 3.0

I have an AIR 2.7 application on windows platform with few performance issues especially around db interaction (running sqlite queries by using flash.data.SQLConnection and flash.data.SQLStatement classes).

After upgrading to AIR 3.0 I’ve noticed some big improvement around this area

Looking at the AIR SDK 3 release notes I found no reference about what exactly was fixed/improved.

Anyone know or can point me to the right direction around what exactly was changed?

Anyone from Adobe who can help here ????
