Question

Default image iOS 10 / 5

I'm using default image  1024x748m   Default-Landscape.png  - for iPad app.

I'm using Air 22  build 0.153

When testing with  IOS public beta 5 - the usual default image is switched with standard app icon (stretched)

is it anybody else who experiences this?  is this just temporary or do we have to do any changes? naming / scaling new  default pngs ?

Hi,

I do have the same bad Problem!!! All Apps published so far with Adobe Air do only show a stretched app icon for about 4 seconds on startup / launch on iOS10! No matter which AIR Version I used: AIR 19, 20, 21, 22 or 23 all do only show a stretched default Icon - after about 4 seconds I see the default image (normal size/nothing stretched) and then the App is working fine. This iOS very bad - here are 4 examples (out of 22 Apps).

Can you please provide an Appropriate workaround to fix this?

THX

Hi,

I tried it with a sample application using AIR 23 on iPhone 5s (iOS 10) and found that problem doesn't occur if we include all the launch images with ipa packaging command.

Kindly try it on your end and let us know if the problem still exist.

Thanks,

Hi deesharm,

it seems this Error only occurs on the iPad and iOS10 (no matter which AIR version you use).

Can you please fix this soon!?

Best
