Des the admo service actually pay anything worth having?

I have a couple of free apps I make money on through in app purchases. They get around 300 downloads a day

What would implementing an admob service in them actually gain - apart from irritating the customers?

Does it bring anything worth bothering?

I never thought there was much money to be made from advertizing, but it makes up a good 75% of my income now. As much as it pains me creatively, I actually design my apps to be ad-supported now whereas in-app purchases are a luxury.

well since nobody answered this I'll answer it myself.

I've used the admob service in about 10 apps and its bringing in about £20 a day. Which I'm pretty happy with as it's an extra £600 a month I can get for doing nothing
