Difference between air3-9_sdk_win_iOS7 and air3-9_sdk_win ?

What exactly is the difference between these because something odd happens on my end.

When I use the air3-9_sdk_win (build 790) to compile an app with the 3 new icon formats, they show up nicely on iOS 7 and everything seems to work fine.

When I use the air3-9_sdk_win_iOS7 (build 1080) to compile an app with the 3 new icon formats, iOS7 seems to ignore the new icons even though it compiles fine. iOS7 uses the older icon in this case. ( I only included 3 icons with a different corner radius, the rest still have the ios6 look )

What exactly is the difference here apart from the build number. Shouldn't it be the build 1080 that works correctly instead of the 790?

Also, another question:

Will I still be able to compile my app for all devices ( iPad 1, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4 ) without any problems? It seems to work but I am having some issues with the iPod Touch 4 and I don't know if it is related...

What you have seen has been written up in another thread. It turns out the the iOS 7 build is for people who need to use iOS 7 SDK features, and it happens not to have the new icons. If you’re not doing iOS 7 specific things, then use the regular build.

I think your iPod Touch issues will be something else.

In regards to the 4th gen ipod touch, it might not be supported by iOS7, check out the official apple page, all the way on the bottom you see a list of supported devices and only the iPod Touch 5th gen is mentioned.
