Dear all,

We have our own app which is bult on Flash and it needs installation of Adobe Air on tablet. I already read those posts about 4.0 Air is not supporting P5210 as the x86 chip.

One of our clients who purchased a few 5210 and updated Adobe Air on one tablet in last December - then he reported our app is not working as giving him the error -42 while installing Adobe Air. However, he advised that for those tablets are still sitting version 3.9.0.138, our app still working fine. I again checked with the module and Android version and the below is the reply:

Not working tab is

Samsung Tab 3

model GT-P5210

Android version 4.2.2

Working tab

Model GT-P5210

Android version 4.2.2

The only one difference is the Adobe air version as I know.

My question is, I tried to get him to install the previous Adobe air version however he received error while installing. Is there a way to revert back to an old version and satisfy him as well as other tab 10 users?

Cheers,

L

Hi,

I have the same issue. There have been many posts around that issue. Why isn't any Adobe developper answering?

The email that appears on Google Play Store for support airandroid@adobe.com doesn't even work!!!

At least to let us know if this will be fixed or alternative options:

- shall we instead package the runtime in the .apk. In that case, does it work only once or does it then apply to all publications in Flash?

- or do we have to downgrade the android version in order to install a previous version of Adobe Air for Android? How do you do that?

Please help,

Cheers,
