Disable accidentally swiping up Control Center

Hi, has anyone found a way to disable the Control Center's "menu arrow" in IOS 7 from accidentally showing up when swiping up from the bottom of an app (or down from the top)?

I've seen this done in non-AIR apps (for instance the Dr. Panda apps).
