Document Reading Messages

When I open a PDF document, I get a message that says "There was a problem reading this document (14)". The pages also come up blank, but were visable previously and there are bookmarks in this document that are visable. Can't figure it out.

I also get this same message when trying to open a PDF. There's no additional details to help me debug this problem. It looks like a corruption of some kind occurred, but I have no idea why or where...
