Error 13xx on Adobe installation

Question

I got Error 13xx when installing Adobe Reader, as well as CorelDraw on a Win7 64 machine. Turns out WINDOWS is looking for a drive &#128551; for some reason. I renamed my DVD drive to E: and inserted a Flash drive as drive D:. All problems disappeared and the installations went smoothly. Anybody else found this?
