Hi,

This seems to be an old problem/bug that only happens on Windows. Is there a solid workaround for this bug? Else I think it needs to be fixed finally.

thx

Here is a posting on this problem: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17238601/adobe-air-filestream-error-3013-file-or-directory-is-in-use

I have the same issue, however using an event listener still does not correct the problem. The problem I am encountering is that I'm looping thru a list of filesnames, opening them to write to them, and closing the stream. The error is thrown when I try to open the file for writing. It makes not sense because the file itself has not been previously opened by the AIR application. I'm reluctant to use a timer workaround as the article suggests. Is this a known AIR issue on Windows?
