Can someone please clarify what is or what was going on with the apple developer license?

"3.3.1 — Applications may only use Documented APIs in the manner prescribed by Apple and must not use or call any private APIs. Applications must be originally written in Objective-C, C, C++, or JavaScript as executed by the iPhone OS WebKit engine, and only code written in C, C++, and Objective-C may compile and directly link against the Documented APIs (e.g., Applications that link to Documented APIs through an intermediary translation or compatibility layer or tool are prohibited)."

This seems extreamly strage and most likley outdated but i keep comming upon forum posts on the web that say cs5 apps will get banned and theres no point in developing on anything other than a mac,

and for some reason many of the people I know developing on mac with xcode are set on the idea that its pointless to develop on windows as this is the case.

It was banned for awhile on the idea that it would lead to an influx of apps that were not designed with the iPhone in mind, then the ban was later lifted and they re-emphasized the human interface guidelines and other guidelines that apps must follow, regardless of what tools they were made with.

I have successfully published to the App Store as well.

Not true. Have multiple projects developed in Flex in App Store.

I think it's not true because this news was posted on 2010 year.
