Will there be an Air 3.7 SDK that can overlay the latest Flex SDK?

Hi,

Yes it has been released, look for the smaller download link under teh large download buttons where it says:

"Note : Flex users will need to download the original AIR SDK without the new compiler."

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.edu.html

For AIR 3.8 Adobe have stated that they hope to release a version that compatable with Apache Flex on labs before the final release.

This article starts with how to overlay AIR SDK's over Flex.

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/articles/ane-android-devices.html

I've been able to overlay AIR 3.7 non-compiler version onto ApacheFlexSDK 4.9.1 and use it. It's not given me any problems yet.

I read something that suggested that they will make one that works. Not sure when it will appear.

In later releases of AIR, will the onus be on the Flex community to support the lastest Air SDKs or will Abobe always provide a version for Flex?

My bet is that Adobe will do the work needed. I believe they are still major contributors to Flex, even if it's with Apache.
