Flex mobile alphabet index list

I need to create an alphabet index list like we have a contact list on Android/iOS devices. I have tried creating something but it is not what I want. It jumps to the selected index but the index list size is not correct and also it goes to the bottom of the list as ensureIndexIsVisible property shows the item at bottom-most position only. I have attached a screenshot of the type of list I am looking for.
