Help with AdobeAir installation on Mac Catalina!

I am trying to install AdobeAir but it says my software does not support it. (However I have the Mac Catalina update.) I had to download an older version and I keep getting the "damaged file" message and it won't install. I messaged Adobe and they were not super helpful since their solution was literally "teach yourself how to code and figure out the problem on your own!"

 

I know nothing about coding nor how to fix this problem. 

 

Please help!

    I'm having the exact same problem.  

    Air told me I needed to update.  When I updated, it said "Adobe AIR.framework" is damaged and can't be opened.

    When I try to uninstall, I get that message.  When I try re-install with an older version, it says I can't because newer version is installed.  

    So I can't open, uninstall, reinstall and downgrade.  Peachy.
