hide the taskbar with back home etc on Android tablet

Hi All

Is there any way from adobe air for android to hide the task bar on android tablets completley from view. The task bar contains the back, home and other icons which sits at the bottom of the pages. Any help would be apprciated.

It is impossible without a rooted device. This behavior is a system feature, and can not be turned off. So dots instead of buttons is all you can get

Set the stage to fullscreen. (This is at least as close as hidden as Android allows.)

Thanks for the reply but my app is fullscreen and the taskbar is still visible but all the icons are now dots. So I am guessing this cannot be done. Am i correct???
