How do enable a network monitor on an AIR desktop app browser without Flash builder? (Kind of like Chrome dev tools)

I see that I'm able to monitor network connection with the URLMonitor class, but checking whether or not the application is connected to a network is not enough.  I need to be able to see the network monitor on the standalone desktop application and see all of the service calls, HTTP Post and Get requests, etc. That way I can have QA run the standalone application and see the network monitor logs.
