How do you debug an application on the Kindle Fire?

Adobe Air 3.2 is not avaible as a download for the kindle fire the only way to make it work is with captive runtime. But you cannot have a debug session with captive runtime. How am I supposed to debug my app?

Yes, developers can publish Adobe AIR 3 applications for the Kindle Fire by packaging them as ‘captive runtime’ applications. However, these captive runtime applications will not support on-device debugging.

It is possible to debug 2.6 apps on the fire but setting it up is a major pain
