Hi, I want to know how much is the license to develop AIR Apps for Blackberry Playbook and to publish them on the Blackberry Store.

For example... for iOS Apps the fee is of 99$ by year.... and for the Blackberry store?

Bye and thanks

Brandon

Good news is it's FREE at the moment and you should be able to port your apps across pretty easily if they're sorted for iOS.

I'm doing this the other way round - started with BlackBerry PlayBook apps and getting started with iOS.

Please help my understand how publishing to the PlayBook works.

Lets say I have an app that works on iPad/iPhone/Android... all the standard devices what do I need to do to get it to the PlayBook, is it as simple as just publishing with the AIR option, or do I need to install something other than what cs5.5 comes with? I dont see an option for PlayBook or BlackBerry as the ones for the Android and iOS.

Is there a good simple tutorial about publishing to the PlayBook?

Hi Mark. There are a few things to install and you need to register as a vendor for the app world - but it's all fairly straightforward. Here's an excellent link from the BlackBerry PlayBook forum. One of the guys there goes through everything you need in a real good level of detail.

It's well worth registering on the forum too.

Good luck !
