Icon lost on taskbar pinned app after upgrade on Windows

Running on Windows 7, 'pin' the AIR app to the taskbar.

When the app gets upgraded, the pinned taskbar icon turns into the standard Windows 'unknown document' icon.

Clicking the icon shows a dialog that says: Can't open this item.  It might have been moved, renamed, or deleted. Do you want to remove this item?

Thanks for reporting this issue.  We are aware of the problem and have it logged internally as bug #2565564.  While I don't have a firm timeframe for a fix, please feel free to contact us in the future via this post or you can email me at ccampbel@adobe.com for an update.  I'll also make note of this post in our bug report.

Is this being scheduled for AIR 2.6?

Unfortunately no, this won't be in the next AIR update.  It's on our backlog but I don't have a target release or date at this time.
