idb.exe has stopped working

windows 8 x64

idb.exe - devices (regardless if there is connected device or not)

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Any ideas how to fix it?

This was working fine for a while, but now I have same issue for Win 7 x64. I believe it may be related to some windows update or drivers.
