I was so impressed I had to post this.

I have a 150mb flash file that equates to a 45mb app, its been getting bigger and bigger as the app has been updated several times over the last year, well previewing the app as a swf in CS6 is a nightmare it takes 7:23 minutes (just timed it) compared to the CC's 67 seconds. AMAZING. This alone for me is worth the price, I haven't tried much else because this was so impressive but if there is any interest I can run a publish to device comparison.

Nice work Flash team I hope the rest of app is just as fast.

Sounds ideal for me. I too have a 100mb FLA that takes up to 10 minutes to compile into a 25mb SWF. It has completely changed the way I develop games, as debugging is a serious investment and forces me to do something else for 10 minutes!

MJD I was dubugging all day yesterday and on the new CC it is a breeze, got so much done its amazing, and publishing to multiple devices at once is really usefull when testing something that requires two devices to connect.

It seems to preview swfs even faster after the original render, it took about 30 seconds for the 100+ mb file to render out.

Hi Colin,

Am I missing something here?

NEW Powerful code editor

Write code more efficiently using the new code editor, built with the open source Scintilla library. Search across multiple files using a new Find and Replace panel to update code fast.

What is so powerful about it? It seems to be almost as effective as the free notepad program that comes with all windows, it really doesn't do anything other than color organize the code for you, where is the auto format option? Code hinting? Is this stuff gone for good or do I need to enable something?

This new search and replace function is way over glorified, it is good but we seems to have lost the ability to find and replace multiple lines of code such as a whole function, that is a major minus. Not uninstalling CS6 just yet. Reverse Kinetics are also gone now from the animation section.

No auto formatting for code, come on what is this? We are supposed to space our own code? Grrrr.

Publishing to multiple devices at once, very cool.
