Hi all, I have 2 pieces of software that require adobe air, and lately both have been getting intermittent, both fail at the same time and then both start working at the same time.I had the suggestion made by support forone that this is a problem with adobe air, and as both require it, and both fail or work at the same time, this seems reasonable.I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, no difference. They have also suggested I try it with a different user, and with a different user it works fine.Windows 7, it should be the latest version of air as I uninstalled and redownloaded and installed just a couple of days ago. The software that won't work is Market Samurai (cannot connect to google adwords) and Long Tail Pro (cannot connect to server).Any ideas anyone?ThanksPeter

Hello,I am having a problem installing a software on Adobe Air. The software I am trying to install is called Longtail Platnium. I installed the 10 day trial, and it worked just fine. Then I uninstalled it and bought the full version. When I try to install the full version, it give me an "error" message. Can somebody please help me?

I opened this ticket: Bug#4036670 - Worker Crashes APP in Standard and Production Builds iOS over 6 months ago - I'd been seeing mention at least in the "known bugs" in each release so I knew it was on the slate for fixing - now I no longer see mention of the bug, yet our app still crashes for iOS in Standard or Production builds.  Quick Builds run as expected, as does the APP on Android without issue.I've had no response to my questions on the actual ticket for a long time.  Feeling very much left out in the cold here - can someone please comment on this??Many Thanks!

Still AIR does not support "flagNoExtractUi" on Android in Landscape mode ....How much you have to wait for this option?It 'very uncomfortable to work with the field text without this option.Can I have an answer or solution?

I'm using CameraUI and CameraRoll in my Starling project and in few devices the app restart after capture the media .I'm don't find anything to solve this problem.Please help me! this a wird bug.

I have been struggling to get the correct height of the soft. keyboard height on iOS & Android.There are some topics on the forum but they do not have any answer (Virtual keyboard height or Re: softKeyboardRect.height incorrectly returns 440 on android)I am getting the height when the keyboard is activated via:stage.softKeyboardRect.heightOn iOS:Height is returned correctly but on iOS 8, users can have custom keyboards, when such a keyboard is used (like swyft) the height returned is not not correct.On Android:Height is always wrong.There is one ANE (freshplanet/ANE-KeyboardSize · GitHub) but currently works for android only.Seeing that the height is part of AIR, it should work cross platform.Any suggestions?

Need Air support in Linux. As  My application developed in Flex working in all platform since 2011. I was developing in Flex4.6 version. But now i need to update it to Flex 4.14.1 version (Flex Apache version). Due to lack of Air version in Linux I couldn't use updated version. What can solve my problem?

Hi,After I have updated the SDK (overlaid on Apache Flex 4.15 final), I'm getting the following errors on all my workers (I have 4 in total), and they fail to start up.VerifyError: Error #1053: Illegal override of softKeyboardType in spark.components.supportClasses.SkinnableTextBase.I have searched my entire workspace and there are no hits for "softKeyboardType" on my own code.The project compiles and works as expected when using AIR 20.0.0.225.Any advice?Best regards,Leo

So my Secunia program informs that these versions need manual updating. I installed the new version Adobe AIR 20, but I am unable to install the previous versions. Used control panel to delete everything, manually deleted everything in C:/Program Files, Program Data, Commonfiles,used CCcleaner to clean the pc and used REVOinstaller to get rid of remnants. It appears that I still have these outdated Adobe AIR installed somehow, I tried reinstalling and uninstalling in command prompt with "adobeairinstaller.exe -uninstall" command, but I always get failed. I need some help with this. If I'm gonna run Adobe AIR 20 I should have previous versions uninstalled, and one would think it be fairly easy to uninstall program.

Hi Support, few weeks ago we reported a possible bug on Air SDK 20.0.0.204 but now, after further investigations, we think this is actually a bug on the Xcode side not yours!for anyone following this, please read this discussion here first Air SDK 20.0.0.204 can't compile ANEs on iOS?Now, here's the bigger problem. I would like to get some help with a problem that I am experiencing when going from debug to publish version of the app. I am using Apache Flex 4.15 and Flash Builder 4.7. The app also uses a native extension to set the audio session category. The native extension was compiled using Apache Flex 4.15.0 sdk as well. Initially there was a problem with the app not being able to play audio when the app is pushed to the background or the screen is locked. Good day.Every time I use the "browseForOpenMultiple" and select many files, the application crashes, it so happens in the operating system "Windows" and only with the application installed, running on "Flash Builder (FLEX)" in mode debug or not, It works perfectly, just install the application on Windows and the problem occurs.Selecting 20 or 30 files works perfectly, but when I select more than 1000 files, the problem occurs.I created a project to demonstrate the problem and put a folder called "many-file". To simulate the problem, simply install the application on Windows, click the button "select files" and select all the files from the folder "many-files" and click the open button. When using a NetGroup in multicast mode with posting enabled, all _net_group.post() messages are never released (aka - they stay in memory forever - see my Scout screenshot below - oddly in the Memory-Other category.)But, is this a feature of a multicast group (the nodes hold onto all messages so that any new group member will receieve all group messages, even prior to the time it joined the group), or is it a bug?If it's a feature, this seems like a serious handicap.  This means that multicast groups would probably be fine for basic chat (though they'll crash eventually), but if you're sending across large data like images or audio or video, the app will crash in a short amount of time.Am I missing a setting that would disable this "feature"?  Is there a purge interval?  Currently I've resorted to destroying and re-creating the group on a timer, which fixes the memory problem, but it makes the communication unreliable.Code and scout screenshot below.  Note that the

I am not able to update Air to the newest version for several weeks now. I'm running Windows 10 (which is updated). I get an error message saying that installation may not be allowed by administrator, but I am the administrator. I have tried to uninstall the old version, but couldn't not get it to uninstall. Any information or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,I'm using AIR 19 (and tested with 20) with facebook ANE (free version to download). When I launch firstly the ANE to login or share content to Facebook, everything works correcly, but after this if I launch CameraRoll.browseForImage(), the CameraRoll class stop responding (crash silently and return to the app to continue working. No error, select or cancel event dispatched). On any Flex/Flash application released for Mac Desktop:press a button; hold down the CTRL key while releasing the button; the CLICK and MOUSE_UP events don't fire, so the Flash application still thinks your mouse is down.Is there no more place to log AIR bugs?
