So we're trying to release our app on iOS, but an old version supported devices AIR no longer supports and we're getting an error.I've spoken to Apple and the fix for this is to limit our app to iOS 7 or above, which we've done with InfoAdditions. We still get the error because our AIR app still includes armv7 and opengles 2.0 as requirements in the Info.plist file.Is there a way we can remove these UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities from the info.plist file? The app will still be limited to devices that support it due to the iOS 7 requirement we have added.

Websites that depend on LocalStorage are not working when being displayed in StageWebView on Android because StageWebView doesn't offer an interface to the native setDomStorageEnabled() method. Adobe, could you please add a corresponding method or at least set it to true as the default?

Our Japenese translators noticed that punctuation marks (dot and comma) are not displayed correctly in our Adobe AIR application when running on iOS. The marks are displayed vertically centered instead of bottom aligned. It does not reproduce on Android and desktop. I'm using device font to display the labels. Any workarounds?

I have a desktop AIR app that includes 19 each mp4 movies. They are located inside a folder that is compiled with the AIR app. They are externally linked through the FLVPlayback 2.5 component. I use AS3 class documents for navigation/coding, not the main timeline.Issue: when an 8th movie is selected, the app crashes. This can be 8 different movies, all the same movie or any combination thereof, after an eighth instance of a movie being selected, the app crashes. None of the movies run concurrently, all are coded to stop playing when leaving the page.When run on an iMac (latest system), does not crash, when run as SWF file, it does not crash. Only when played inside the AIR wrapper on the PC does this happen. Have tested with anti-virus off. I have run a memory stat checker with the program and though it can get pretty big before garbage collection, memory use is not causing this issue.This program is built in Flash CC 2015, latest version. Hello,I was reading that from iOS 9 developers can add URL scheme handlers for specific domains. So instead of using "myapp://domain" we can now add handlers for actual domain names like "www.myappdomain/somefile.html". Has anyone done that, is it supported in Air 19?Thanks,Ruben

Hello....I upgraded to Win 10 from Win 7.  I like to wager on TwinSpires.com and one of their applicationsrequires Adobe Air.  Until recently, all was well.  Then I began to get installation errors.  I get a pop upmsg box that says "Something went wrong with the installation".  It also tells me to upgrade Air when thereisn't any upgrade because I have the latest version 19.0.In order to load the TwinSpires app I have to delete Air and app (Wager Pro) every time I'm donewith the site.  This never happened before.  I can't seem to get a clean install without error msgs.I've uninstalled Air 50 times or more.  I've downloaded from the Adobe site with no better luck.Any ideas ?JohnNew Hampshire

Hi,I'm looking to be able to package an alternative icon resource (i.e. an Android drawable resource) with an Android application.This is necessary to use as icons for Notifications in the status bar. With the recent Android versions these icons are flat, transparent and white only.I know I can use an ANE to include these resources, however I'd like to be able to give AIR developers the ability to add these resources with their application and use our ANE to access them. This requires the ability to add specific resources along with the AIR packaging of the application. Currently our only option is to use the application icon which in many cases is inappropriate for the status bar.Something simple like being able to include a 'res' directory with additional resources would be enough to add a lot of features for us.Any chance of adding this feature?Cheers,Michael

This feature would be an extremely welcome addition for those of us who have persisted with the Adobe Media Server stack Using Specific Audio UnitsIn addition, it's now possible to obtain hardware encoded h264 frames in real time (directly, without streaming to a file and parsing it in real time). I would surely like to do a PING from inside my Adobe AIR product. It would solve a lot of monitoring problems.But evidently a ICMP echo request uses a different TCP header value than UDP or TCP. I see we have a socket class for TCP, a DatagramSocket class for UDP, but evidently there is no apparent way to ping a server. I guess the powers at adobe think this power is inadvisable for mortals? Too bad, because i need to ping some servers on a monitoring program i am writing. I will have to find some other way of detecting life at the other end. Does anyone know of a native extension available that wold do the PING for iOS and Android? I have a very small mobile app i am developing whose purpose is to check on the status of some servers, and an ICMP ping request is just what the doctor ordered. I guess I could write some C program to relay the ping, but that seems silly.Adobe has done such a good job of giving us additional power in AIR, a shame that we can't get to ICMP ....!

Multiple Screens, In the past I created a loader stage the size of the 2 screens and load a movieclip that contained two movieclips at the proper x,y positions and they displayed correctly on the two screens (AS2 and standalone player). Now using AS3 and publishing as a projector file I've not been able to duplicate the same results, Help, Thx.....  

Hello people!I'm working on Adobe AIR app for iOS and recently was exploring workers and run into a major problem I have no idea how to solve and I hope you can help me!So, what I'm doing is:1) Generate worker swf file let's name it worker.swf and put it into bin/workers/worker.swf2) Create a descriptor file for a workers which currently contains only a single entry of "workers/worker.swf" name it workers.txt and put it into bin/workers/workers.txt3) Add an entry within iPhone tag of applicaton.xml in a way <externalSwfs>workers/workers.txt</externalSwfs>4) Add those files to file properties of ADT -package files info configuration in a way <arg line="-C bin" /> <arg line="workers" />After this I expect that folder "workers" will be located within ipa file and would contain both files mentioned above, but that is not what is happening. All I have in that folder is txt descriptor file and no worker swf. And I've already tried everything I could think of.Best I co

Does anyone know of a library I could find that would let me compare images?For example..  if I took a pic of a Coke can..  it would compare against a pic I have in AIR of a Coke can .. and give a good indication that its a match ?

I'm having some difficulty adding support for the Amazon Fire Controller using GameInput.There are a couple of issues I'm running into. First: the Fire Game Controller sends "secondary" events for some of the controls when the "primary" control event isn't handled. There doesn't seem to be any way in GameInput to stop this behavior - so you will *always* get the secondary input. This is particularly bad with the "B" button, which sends a secondary control of "BACK". On OSX every standard window frame has 3 circular icons in the upper left corner of the window, corresponding to red (close window), yellow (minimize), and green (maximize).when the user changes the contents of their document, you are supposed to change the icon from a clear red icon to one with a black dot in the middle, indicating it has changed.I can't find anywhere in NativeWindow to do this. Surely i can't be the first person to want to set the "changed" flag in the window frame.help is appreciated.edward

You may need to set the -platformsdk flag in the ADT command if the attribute was introduced after Android 2.2.I thought I found the solution but setting the -platformsdk flag in my adt command is not fixing the issue! What am I doing wrong?! on the Android side, I am using the Android SDK and everything works but when I try to use the attribute in Adobe Air pointing to the right Android SDK it keeps throwing that error message when compiling.Thanks.
