With the innovation in iPhone and other app platform industry, I am now considering to build my own app which would support me in my business and my daily routine. Previously I had an iPhone app where I used to perform my graphic designing task and all softwares integrated in one display. So should I contact that iPhone app development company or consult with some freelancers?

Thanks!

What about in-app-purchases - if a user bought a e.g. "remove ads" feature for an iPhone game - does he need to buy it on the iPad again?

(or in othe words: are in-app-purchases connected to a devices UDID or Apple ID?)

Pretty sure they're against the Apple ID. Don't forget to include a Restore Purchases option, your app would get rejected if you don't have that ability.
