Install on device issue

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is an AIR 3.6 issue or a Flash CS6 issue, but having issues testing an app on an iPad1. It says there's not enough space on the device even though there's about 15Gb available. I'm able to successfully test the app on an iPad mini and an iPad3 though.

Any tips on what I might be able to do to bypass or resolve the issue?

Thanks for any help!

Jon

Times that I have seen that message it's been because I was installing a new app that used the same app id as an old app. It fails to install because iOS won't let you do that, and Flash gets the impression that there wasn't space. Either delete the old app or use a new app id.

Hi Colin

Unfortunately that didn't resolve the issue. For now I've just resorted to manually dragging the IPA files into iTunes. Would be interesting to figure out what the issue is though, as it's a great feature when it works.

Cheers

If you do have to manually drag, and you're on Mac, use the Organizer window in Xcode. If you're on Windows, use the iPhone Configuration Utility. Those are much faster ways to get IPAs onto a device, than going via iTunes.
