I just started getting the following error when I started using AIRSDK 16.0.0283.

"The device has encountered an unexpected error. Installation Error: PackageInspectionFailed"

I can't test my app now. I've tried unsuccessfully on iPad and iPhone 6 plus.

Flash Professional CC

Windows 7

Hi,

Can you kindly do the following?

1. Delete the old xml and swf the Flash Pro has created Or Back it up to some other place.

2. Select the SDK.

3. Save the project.

4. Try re publishing it.

Let me know if the issue persists.

I've been struggling with this bug since AIR first introduced iOS support. You will see it over and over again. Please vote on it so we can get it fixed:

The issue persists. Well it goes away for one or two builds, then comes back again. This is a persistent issue since AIR 3.x

I have seen this error few times on Windows 8.1 with iPad and iPhone using AIR SDK 14 and 15. In my case it could be fixed by reconnecting device and restarting Flash Professional CC.

I've tried reconnecting as well as restarting Flash and the computer. Nothing has worked.

I saw this error when I used MAC version of AIR SDK in Windows by my own mistake. Does this can be affected to you?
