Installation issues with Adobe Air on Mac

Hi,

I posted a question a while ago and received an answer but it only applies to Windows. Can anyone help with the sam eissue on a Mac?

Here's my original question:

I am unable to install Adobe Air on my Macbook Pro (OS 10.6.8).

I had a previous version (2.7...) and uninstalled it.

I get the error "An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." and I have followed the instrictions to deal with this here http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/902/cpsid_90205.html but without success.

Can anybody help?

I've found the answer!

I had to delete the HD/Library/Frameworks/Adobe AIR framework folder and it worked!
