Installation of Adobe Air recommended update

I am running AdobeAir version 3.2.0.2070. Upon attempting to update I receive the following error message. This Application cannot be installed because this installation has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance. I have made the following attempts:

Uninstall, new install

tried Microsoft "fixit" program

many reboots

All to no avail!!

Unfortunately I don't think you can attach files to posts. You can either email me the file at ccampbel@adobe.com or you can copy/paste the contents of the log to a post.
