Installer file damaged?

Hi,

This is the first problem I've had with Adobe and can't find an answer anywhere.  I'm trying to update BBC iPlayer but when Abobe attempts to run the following error is displayed:

Sorry, an error has occurred

The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.

I have found the logs but don't want to publish to everyone.  Can someone please help me?

I'm using Windows 7.

Hi,

Could you please try to uninstall the previous version of BBC iPlayer manually, and then install the latest version?
