Installing air applications returns error

I am running windows 8.1 x64

All updates to applications return the same error.

The AIR install.log is:

Hi Rod, Try temporarily disabling any Security software and try download it again, I run McAfee and i have to disable it to install new version of Adobe Air.

    Thats good news right there,,

    FYI  here's another one i come across in last update but im windows 7 still.  .....

    Had this error pop up,Saying i didn't have administration rights to down load the update and i was logged in as the administrator,

    Here was my solution

    This was another around in circles episode too, after clearing (no traces left behind, use a cleaning software like revo uninstaller) all my .air files from my pc as instructed by many, after a couple of runs at this, still had admin error,

    The error i believe was caused by not having a password set for my admin account as i use my finger print for login, Because before i tried to down load it again, i also set a password up for my admin account and double checked that i was using it as the admin as i always have done... and BOOM! fixed downloaded in seconds.
