Installing Air on windows 10

Hi. When i try to install Adobe Air on my windows 10 pro machine i get the following error.

"An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator."

i am the administrator, in the admin account and windows has all updates. 

I have checked the run as admin box in properties>compatability mode and have tried it on all compatability options.

Can you please help as i have a few apps that need air to run
