iOS 10 - 32-bit app alert

Hi,

We have encountered a warning alert about our app on iOS 10 devices. It is reported that the alert warns about old apps using 32-bit architecture:

We have seen this in non-app-store IPA builds and iOS 10 simulator (using AIR 23) but we are wondering whether the alert will show up in builds released to the App Store?

We'd appreciate any information on this from the AIR team.

Thanks!

I thought Air is producing 64 bit IPA files for a while now?

That is true, otherwise you wouldn't be able to update your app in the App Store. As I said, we've seen this alert pop up in non-app-store IPA builds so maybe there are some differences in packaging between these and App Store builds. We were hoping AIR dev team could explain why it shows up.

There is no any difference between AppStore or Ad Hoc distribution. May be your IPA builded with other type of compiling options? Like Fast, debug or Interpreter mode?
