Question

IOS 6.0?

I can confirm that an app using Air 3.3 runtime does not install on a IOS 6.0 device.  It gives an API error.  Are there plans in the works to support IOS 6?  Do we have to worry that the Air apps won't run on IOS 6.0?

Cheers!

my app is also using gpu rendermode with 3d transformations and no longer works. Adobe, we need you to fix this ASAP; lot's of apps are going to be broken. Why offer GPU rendermode if you aren't going to support it? Changing the rendermode to direct just simply won't do. The performance is terrible.

Do you mean apps made using AIR 3.2? There isn't an AIR 3.2 runtime for iOS, only for Android.

AIR 3.2 made apps do install and run ok in iOS 6, at least if you use the Organizer window in Xcode 4.5.

I am using Air 3.3 SDK.

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html

It works for Android and IOS (I was on 5.1.1).

I updated my phone to 6.0 and I am using the beta xCode for 6.0.  xCode 4.5 DPI.

When dragging app over in xCode it took awhile and then came back saying that it couldn't be installed due to an API error.

I have already put my phone back to 5.1.1 so I can keep working on my project.

Cheers,

M

Probably well worth mentioning that this is a Stage3d project using Starling.
