Question

Ios and bytecode: I know it gets stripped out, but...

Hi,

Can anyone confirm whether loading SWF with bytecode is an issue for Apple Store validation?

The issue is, I am positioning graphic elements loaded as SWF - which works fine - but they are generated by a third party and contain AS classes that I don't need or want, but cannot easily get taken out.

I have a working app that reads them and works well, but I don't know whether Apple will object to content containing bytecode?

Thanks,

G

Bumping this in the hope that somebody can let me know if it is merely sub-ideal or an absolute no-no to risk going into release with loaded SWF that contain bytecode?
