iOS emulation / testing

Hi!

A lot of people have noted that "install application on connected iOS device" seems to be broken, with all sorts of workarounds involving reverting to an older version of iTunes etc. And the Adobe emulator has some shortcomings.

I was wondering... does anyone have recommendations for iOS/iPad emulators?

Something you could boot on a Windows (or Mac), point to an APK, and it'll run it?
