IOS: fullscreen on TV ? (and dualscreen)

Hi,

A customer asked me if it's possible to have their application in fullscreen on TV, I answered no but after some search, things seems to have changed: I saw applications in fullscreen with my iPad2 connected to a TV and with a true dualscreen (not just a cloned screen).

Is it possible with AIR?

Thx !

Adobe ("Jack-of-all-trades, Master-of-none") will not probably never get around to even looking at dual-screen possibilities since this is platform-centric and can really only be accomplished by integrating AIR with Apple's Airplay technology. (no comparable thing for Androld, AFAIK...)

Best hope is someone puts out an ANE for iOS dual-screen support. As of now, though, I doubt this could be accomplished with AIR. One exception, however, is if the on-tv-screen content is pure video, which you could indeed stream using a Quicktime video file in conjunction with the Airplay feature while retaining the app interface on the device.

Good luck!

Hey man did you ever find out anything about this??  I've developed a few AIR for iOS apps using Flash Pro but I'm wondering if I could create an "Airplay" Enabled app or game by utilizing AIR for iOS via Flash Pro.  This is getting confusing.  Any info would be much apprechiated. Thanks!!

As far as I'm aware, AIR does not have any sort of Airplay SDK support.

If anyone from Adobe is reading this, this feature (taken from the link below) is what developers like myself and FatboyUrb are interested in Airplay:

- Use the iOS-based device’s built-in display independently when a second display is active.
