Air 16+17 report the iPhone 6+ has a resolution of 1472 X 828

I am using Default-414w-736h@3x.png as the launch image name

Thanks

I am using the ~iphone addition in the file name but it still comes back with the wrong resolution.

I created a new project and just used the slash screens I have and the same thing happens (both 17.0.0.105 and 16.0.0.272)

It does load the iPhone 6+ slash screen fine, I just changed my code to detect the smaller resolution.

The size of the splash screen is correct.

Could you share the project that comes back with the proper resolution?

Look at Lars' message here:

Re: Bug Fix for 3916056 | Landscape launch image twitches to portrait when aspectRatio is set to landscape in applicatio…

He's one of the people who posted that as a solution. Maybe he has a small demo of it working.

Yeah, his post is what prompted me to append ~iphone \~ipad to everything. What is strange is everything works fine.... just displays the wrong resolution in my code....

Hi,

We verified the issue at our end but unable to replicate it. we are getting correct resolution of 2208x1242 on iPhone 6+.

Could you please share us the sample code so that we can verify at our end.

Thanks,

Jitender

Jitender, did you test with a full set of splash images in the app? It could be that with no splash images you get the right dimensions. Also, in two other threads people claimed that a splash screen named Default-414w-736h@3x~iphone.png solves the issue. Having ~iphone in the name stops the iPhone from picking up an iPad splash screen, and maybe it's like the iPhone 5, the screen size is affected by having the right splash screen.
