Question

iPhone X Status bar disappears?

I have attached photos from AIR apps I work on. I am having issues with the iPhone X specifically.

I am running,

-Latest iOS

-Latest AIR 28

-Complied via Flash builder (Mac OS 10.12.6)

-Both apps successfully were submitted to app store

-Both apps are opened from test-flight beta testing

When the app opens up I can see the status bar, however after a period of time the status bar doesn't show up on the top. I cannot figure out what causes this, I have tried app switching and opening and closing the app. The behavior seems random, however when it occurs - it remains. Any ideas on this are appreciated.

Has anyone found a solution for this?

I also experience the same bug. After rotating iPhone X to landscape, if I go back to portrait the status bar remains hidden...

pravishtis is there a solution for this issue?

Thanks!

I can recreate the behavior when rotating the iPhone X from portrait to landscape using a resize event with a stagewebview. In this example, I load a youtube video url. When playing the video and rotating the device to landscape the statusbar disappears.

*Edit, I can recreate this in other devices. A StageViewView Bug? Or Am I using StageViewView incorrectly?

I have created a gist here https://gist.github.com/jchri853/fa3c73677e8f13ec90995900b7519bfb

I'm not using stagewebview. Simply rotating the phone makes them disappear like a regular iPhone X app. Then they never come back once rotated back.

Hi,

Can you please provide a sample application/code in which the issue is reproducible so that we can investigate further.

Thanks,

It has to do with rotating the phone for me. The status bar disappears in landscape mode like it should, then never comes back when the iPhone 10x is rotated up right.
